Characteristics of Waysiders.

• Desires to have truth meet their ideas rather than submitting.
• Critics of faithful christian works. Harbors doubt & unbelief
• Absorbed in selfish aims and sinful indulgences.
• An attentive hearer, do not see their spiritual need, ignores the love of Christ.
• The Heart is an highway for the worlds traffic of pleasures & sins
• Spiritual faculties are paralyzed. Not understanding
• Sees the defects of the messenger as opposed to the truth form the messenger.

Solution

By this parable Christ was virtually saying to His hearers, It is not safe for you to stand as critics of my work, or to indulge disappointment because it does not meet your idea. The question of greatest importance to you is, How do you treat my message? Upon your reception or rejection of it your eternal destiny depends.
